Be a Hero to a Homeless Pet

Animals that enter the shelter that are very young, ill, injured or need a psychological break from the shelter are all candidates for our Foster program. These animals live with families outside of the shelter until they are ready to be spayed or neutered and adopted. Foster families allow us to take in more animals in need and also help to cut down on costs of staffing and food.

Medical Foster Opportunities

Assistance is needed for kittens and puppies too young to be in our shelter. For information on how you can help with temporary housing for these special animals, please contact Cathy Ford, Animal Care Manager, at  cahwanimalcare@rcn.com
