Medical Fostering Opportunities—kittens and puppies too young to be in the shelter - contact Cathy Ford, Animal Care Manager: cahwanimalcare@rcn.com
Other Fostering Opportunities—behavioral; break from shelter; foster to help animal get adopted - contact Jennifer Gray, Board of Directors: jennifergray@rcn.com
Animals that enter the shelter that are very young, ill, injured or need a psychological break from the shelter are all candidates for our Foster program. These animals live with families outside of the shelter until they are ready to be spayed or neutered and adopted. Foster families allow us to take in more animals in need and also help to cut down on costs of staffing and food.
